Meet Jamie

Jamie Auer is a Chicago-based Properties Artisan originally from Southern California. He graduated from the Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Scene Design in June of 2023. He currently works freelancing as a props artisan, designer, and carpenter throughout the city of Chicago.

He is passionate about the experimental nature of props and the variety of materials, methods, and mediums that each project can become.

Outside of his work, he loves trying new recipes, delving into research rabbit holes, and antique shopping.
